IGT’s innovative lottery and IGT PlayDigital products and services will enhance the player experience
LONDON, 5 May, 2020 /PRNeveswire/ — The IGT Global Services Limited (“IGT) has signed a long-term agreement with SAZKA A.S., International Scale Technology PLC (NYSE: IGT). (‘SAZKA’) a major player in the Czech Republic to deliver technology products and services via the upgraded central lottery network, lottery terminals of next generation, the new digital lottery platform, and related content and services (hereinafter referred to as “SAZKA”.’) As of 31 March 2020, the contract was effective.

As a major part of the agreement, IGT will change over SAZKA’s current central IGT lottery system into its new high-performance, high-reliability, and open Aurora lottery solution, designed to meet all the needs of today’s Lottery while enabling them to react quickly to changing market conditions.
This upgrade includes BizApps that offers improved market intelligence and analytic tools to optimize growth in sales and includes the Order Wizard, a proactive, predictive buying instrument that ensures retailer stock of best selling scratch cards, allowing sales to rise and growing returns. IGT also replaces SAZKA’s 8000 lottery terminals with its modern terminals, including IGT’s most-deployed, industrial-leading and retail-friendly Retailer Pro Lottery Terminal.
The contract provides the ability to utilize the IGT PlayDigitalTM PlayCommand platform, a solution that allows the Lottery to monitor all player engagement areas, predict emerging consumer and technological developments strategically adapt the activity to new opportunities and provide advanced and scalable responsive gaming features.
In addition, IGT will provide a range of technical services including operation of the central lottery network, depot service, and maintenance services in software and telecommunications, as well as game content and a suite of game design and marketing consulting services.
Since 1993 SAZKA has been a customer of IGT. IGT provides the Lottery with its instant ticket processing and inspection program, and printing services in addition to its central system, terminals, technical infrastructure, and digital lottery technology. Share of the Lottery’s proceeds go to good causes, including youth sport in the Czech Republic and the Olympic Committee in the country.
