Basketball supporters who missed the Dunks and three-pointers can now connect to the eGG Network to view the best players in the world competing in the NBA 2K League
The NBA 2K League, being the first official esports league operated by a US professional sports league, is a collaborative venture between the NBA and the NBA 2K game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.
Among the 23 teams that will be competing in the NBA 2K League, are: T-Wolves Gaming (2019 NBA 2K League Champions), 76ers GC (2019 finals runner-up) and the Gen. G Tigers of Shanghai, the League’s first team from other parts of North America.
As from today, fans in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Myanmar, and can view the highest level of NBA 2K League action on the eGG Network.
On Tuesday the 5th of May, the NBA-2K League will kick-off with at least six weeks of remote best-of-three games format, competitive gameplay. The eGG Network will start broadcasting matches as from Week 6 of the fixed –season competitions, and are expected to continue through the NBA 2K League Finals.
eGG Network will also air three in-season tournaments of the NBA 2K League: THE TIPOFF, THE TURN and THE TICKET. As information becomes available, the timetable and structure for the remainder of the 2020 season will be shared, including dates of tournaments, Playoffs and the Finals.
