Vodafone Giants have eagerly welcomed Red Bull as the newest partner and official energy drink supplier to both the team and its main facility in Spain, the Giants Fighter Dojo.

The deal will involve leveraging off Red Bull’s substantial presence on social media and streaming networks, such as Red Bull Spanish fighting events. The far-reaching agreement makes provision for Red Bull to share valuable information gained from their involvement and experience in the industry, to assist the Vodafone Giants with competitive and elite sports preparation.

For José Ramón Díaz , CEO of Giants Gaming, this sponsorship agreement is undoubtedly “one more step in the evolution of the brand, since having a company like Red Bull by our side, which is the world’s leading exponent of sports sponsorship, is the confirmation of club’s growth.

A Red Bull Spain representative has expressed the hope that “the beginning of this agreement with Vodafone Giants reassures the company’s commitment to the esports sector, we cannot imagine a better travel companion for our journey through a market niche that will grow dramatically in the coming years.”

This partnership serves to strengthen the existing relationship between the energy drink company and the club since both Ricardo “Fox” Pacheco and Joan “Shanks” Namay, two of Vodafone Giants’ most accomplished players, already had individual agreements in place with Red Bull, the latter having been the first Spanish fighting competitor to secure an agreement with an energy drink company. Since it was founded in 1984, Red Bull has ensured the association of its brand with youth, innovation and sporting excellence, by organizing and promoting sporting spectaculars.

The list of sports associated with the brand is ever-growing, including  mountain biking, motorcycling, motorsports, baseball, triathlon, soccer, ice hockey, skating, kayaking, downhill skiing, kitesurfing, rally, snowboarding, and has now extended to esports due to its partnership with the Vodafone Giants.
