BLAST Bounty teams up with KITKAT in new sponsorship deal

A new announcement that detailed a fresh partnership agreement with Kitkat has been made by BLAST. This agreement involves the sponsorship of BLAST Bounty Hunt by Nestle chocolate brand.

This new deal will give Nestle the opportunity to brand and promote it contens during BLAST’s online Dota 2 tournament which will start tomorrow (Tuesday, 9 June). The agreement also involve sponsorship of in-broadcast feature ‘Captain’s Kick Back’, where team captains will talk about their life in and outside of esports.

The Commercial Director for BLAST, Leo Matlock mentioned said: “We’re thrilled to add a brand as reputable and well-known as KitKat to our family of partners ahead of BLAST’s first DoTa 2 tournament. KitKat is a global brand and we are proud that they have chosen BLAST to further develop their burgeoning esports strategy with a bespoke partnership that maximises our far-reaching and innovative tournament approach.”

The Marketing Manager of Kitkat for Europe, Middle East & North Africa also said: “KitKat has always been about a smile in the break and getting a fresh perspective which is also very relevant in gaming and the highly competitive esports environment. We made our first steps in esports earlier this year and were overwhelmed by the positive feedback from fans, teams and partners alike. This confirmed the strong fit between KitKat and the community, and we look forward to a great collaboration with BLAST to bring meaningful, fun content and surprises to the DoTa 2 Bounty Hunt!”

BLAST’s newly launched game, DOTA 2 tournament which will feature the best team across europe and the world was launched last month. The tournament will go on for 5 days from 9th to 13th of June and teams will compete for a pool prize that is up to the tune of $150,000.

The teams that will compete during the tournament include OG Esports, Team Secret, Nigma, NIP, Alliance and Team Liquid playing BO3s until the Championship Final BO5. Teams will compete with each other and play in double elimination matches to reach the final two. Matches 3-6 will playoff with the winners moving on to play Matches 1-2 for a place in the final.

The tournament will be broadcast on BLAST’s new DOTA 2 channels Twitch and Youtube
