In what is regarded as a big step forward for gaming in India, Baseline Ventures, a renowned sports promotion, entertainment, and brand licensing company, has signed a partnership withMarcos Gaming.
Marcos Gaming, a team from South Asia was launched in December 2019 and every so often they participated in events such as ‘PUBG’ and ‘Call of Duty’. The team’s appealing play style impressed several rival PUBG and COD opponents, PMOCs, when they finished 6th at the table, out of 24 teams during their first tournament. They were subsequently also crowned OR Title winners.
Since digital gaming was launched in India, it has received tremendous interest and is said to be one of the fastest growing and developing sectors. The country has many keen e-gamers who are regular participants in weekly tournaments. Competition is fierce, with teams competing around the clock against one another to gain control in the e-sports sector. Marcos Gaming has been one of these teams.
Baseline Ventures has agreed to mainly deal with the commercial aspect of Marcos Gaming while the team will focus on competing in tournaments.
The parties, ecstatic about their exciting new partnership, showed immense gratitude towards it.
