The Twitchcon event organisers have issued a sincere apology for having to postpone TwitchCon Amsterdam, saying it was an extremely difficult decision to make.
However, they have kept a close eye on the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact over a few months, while weighing up the TwitchCon San Diego event.
After much consideration it was decided to also postpone TwitchCon San Diego this fall due to restrictions on large gatherings and persistent health and safety concerns from partners, Twitch staff and local authorities in San Diego.
TwitchCon management expressed their utter disappointment for not being able to join their loyal supporters, nor able to show them all the new innovations and developments that they had in store for them but promised to find alternative ways to connect with their supporters later during the year, hopefully under improved circumstances.
Fans will be kept posted on new developments.

You will not be charged if you have booked a hotel via Twitch’s hotel block.

Unfortunately, for reservations outside of the hotel block in Twitch, Twitch do not offer refunds so you will have to call the hotel or leasing provider to resolve the problem directly.
