Premier esports organization FaZe Clan has acquired part ownership of meal replacement shake manufacturer and start-up CTRL, a move that coincides with FaZe Clan’s 10th anniversary, and marks the first time that the renowned gaming company has entered a joint ownership agreement with another brand.
Sundance DiGiovanni, co-founder of CTRL and Major League Gaming stated:
“This deal represents the next step in the evolution of esports, “A few years ago, nobody believed that esports was ready for prime time. Now, it’s a major force in both culture and business.”
As co-owner of CTRL, FaZe Clan will draw on its substantial marketing muscle, leveraging its 230 million followers and multitude of loyal fans to elevate CTRL’s global popularity.Together, FaZe Clan and CTRL will work together to invent a range of new flavours for the meal substitution shake.

CTRL was borne out of an idea shared between Major League Gaming Co-founder and esports business legend Sundance DiGiovanni, former professional gamer and Team Envy founder Skyler Johnson, as well as entertainment exec, attorney and previously Major League Gaming’s General Counsel, Glenn Delgado.

CTRL likens the taste of their supplemental shakes to the bottom of a cereal bowl, packed with nutritious proteins, carbohydrates, MCTs (or healthy fats), 22+ vitamins and minerals, fiber to support gut health and help control appetite and digestive enzymes to promote healthy digestion.
