The League officially announced four new marketing partnerships for 2020 which include: GameStop (retailer), Jostens (manufacturer of mementos), (SAP (software company), and Tissot (watchmaker), in what is the highest number of new partners joining the NBA 2K League Season brings the League’s marketing partners to 13.
These strategic partnerships will focus on providing supporters and players with unique content, access to data software and comprehensive, detailed statistics.
NBA 2K League Managing Director Brendan Donohue said: “We’re thrilled by the
level of interest and support from fans and partners for our third season. “We’re excited to work with such a wide range of companies that share our commitment to growing the NBA 2K League, and we thank all of them for their collaboration to engage new and returning fans in creative ways.”
Four new partners from the League will enable both fans and players to stay close to the game through the new hardware championship, the NBA 2K League content, statistical inspections, analysis software and enhancement of the game.
GameStop is the NBA 2K League’s official video game retailer and Draft Clash’s Presenting Partner on Sunday 14th June, a highlighting event of the leading veteran NBA 2K League rookies. GameStop offers fans access to NBA 2K League contents throughout the season and promoted NBA 2K League broadcasts, including GameStop TV, on GameStop channels.
Jostens is NBA 2K League’s official ring partner and recently presented the 2019 NBA 2K League T-Wolves Gaming custom championship rings.
As its Official Business Analytics Software Partner, SAP joins the NBA 2K League. SAP provides viewers on NBA2K League broadcasts with statistical perspectives.
Tissot is the Official Watch and the Official Timekeeper of the NBA 2K League. Tissot will sponsor a content series called “24 Seconds With” throughout the season. The series features 24 seconds with a player, coach or NBA2K League personality or guest.
The Anheuser-Busch, AI&T, Champion Athleticwear, HyperX, Panera Bread, Raynor Gaming, Scuf Gaming, Snickers and Stance associate GameStop, Jostens and Tissot are engaged year round in NBA 2K League fans through exclusive content, interviews and videos with players, events, fan promotions, league and team apparel, gaming merchandise, and much more.
Tuesday 5 May will begin the 2020 NBA 2K League season. Both 23 teams compete on their respective markets in online gameplay. Matches start at 7 p.m. in the regular season. ET of four distinct matches each night on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The competition in the NBA 2K League will be live via ESPN2, the ESPN digital platform, Sportsnet (Canada), Twitch and YouTube and on delay eGG ‘s network (Southeast Asia).
THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T, Tuesday June 16 – Friday, June 19, will be the first of the three NBA 2K League in-season tournaments. The tournament will involve all 23 players. ESPN2, the ESPN digital networks and the Twitch and YouTube channels are broadcast to gamers online. Games will also air in Canada on Sportsnet on June 16 from 6 – 9 p.m. ET and the eGG Network delay during the tournament in Southeast Asia.
