BBC To Broadcast W Series Esports League

W Series is delighted to announce a new partnership with the BBC that will ensure the broadcast of the entire brand new W Series Esports League season across the BBC’s digital platforms. 

W Series will be working in close collaboration with Logitech G, Beyond Entertainment, iRacing and Whisper, W.Series and intend staging W Series Esports League races on ten of the most prominent, world-renowned circuits. Every race will be shown in 10 X 90 minute broadcasts by BBC, across BBC iPlayer, Red Button and BBC Sport website.

The championship will start on 11 June and will finish on 13 August.

In a unique sim-racing event, only women will be contesting the W Series Esports League and each of the 18 drivers who have successfully made it through to the W Series will be able to participate in the race this year, with all participants using the same equipment.

The W Series esport league aims to promote and encourage more women and girls to take up eracing. The W Series Esport League aims to open up a new world of equality and diversity in the esport arena, previously an activity exclusive to male participants.
