Then Global Esports Federation Ramps up International Commercial Focus

The global esports Federation stated that in order to generate opportunities for the esports community they intend to drive esports into the spotlight of all global events and entertainment, as part of the Brand, Marketing, Commercial and Communication Commissions.

President of the Global Esports Federation, Chris Chan stated, “Esports has emerged into the mainstream in recent years, evolving to hit the mainstage of entertainment globally. The whole of the Global Esports Federation and the global esports community are optimistic about its continued growth and expansion. We are excited to share our progress and new developments in esports.”

The Commission will be joined by GEF Board members as well as Senior Italian football executive Lorenzo Giorgetti. GEF celebrates the inclusivity of global sports throughout the year through coordinated regional, continental and international events.

Giorgetti is Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of one of the best football clubs in the world, A.C. Milan, with a degree in engineering and as a distinguished businessman, will add immense value to the Commission’s detailed and crucial work discipline and experience.

Giorgetti, in a statement, said:  “The Global Esports Federation convenes the stakeholders in the world’s dynamic esports community from different backgrounds, geographies and business models.” “I look forward to engaging with the world’s commercial brands – established and those emerging – and the market at large to bring tremendous value to the GEF and our worldwide properties.

In order to bring together a changing industry, cultivate commercial opportunities, and build revenue by driving strategic brand initiatives and partnerships, the brand, marketing, commercial & communication Commission will focus key priorities in increasing global esport.
