PlatinumGames Tenders Apology for Invalid Switch Codes following The Wonderful 101 delay

Bayonetta software engineer PlatinumGames has apologized to Kickstarter backers  for The Wonderful 101: Remastered as the game’s rollout hit another roadblock.

The software developer has been giving Switch codes to backers to enable them to have the full version of the game before the promised release date.

Unfortunately, VGC reports that some players of the game got blank codes or ones that didn’t let them play the game right away.

Later, Platinum confirmed this unfortunate event, and issues apologize to that effect on Twitter.

The studio expressed: “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

This unfortunate event followed news from earlier in the month that the physical version of The Wonderful 101: Remastered has been delayed because of the effect of the Corona Virus Pandemic on production and shipping.

The studio guaranteed that digital backers would, at present, get their codes as scheduled and guaranteed Steam codes to physical supporters immediately they became accessible.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered is set to start on 19 May in the US, 22 May in Europe, and 11 June in Japan.

It is important to note that the game realized a whooping sum of $2.2 million through a Kickstarter campaign back in March.
